This is the main wall in the kitchen. It holds the all important notice board. Now, my son is almost eight. He is at that stage where he can comfortably read some big words. This signage is an attempt to make sure some words and their meanings never leave him. That he is able to absorb them subliminally-
zehan mein baith jayen…
Love, Hope, Honour, Cherish, Truth, Zest, Strength and Desire.

I get a lot of mails from people wanting to know what my house looks like. So I thought over the next couple of days, I am going to post a few images of home.

The Lampost

The Lampost (Detail)

The Lampost (Detail)
We (my husband and I), bought this clock in Janpath (Delhi) and then carted it all the way to Bangalore. And guess what, it was available in Bangalore too!! It’s placed in our living area and kinda is at the center point between the dining and living areas. And can be viewed from both sides. We decided it needed a lilttle something and hence the lamp post was drawn on the wall. We are debating whether we need to add a bench next to it or paint a Bogart figure complete with cigar and smoke. What do you think?
