Sattva show

Posted by aarohi | Posted in Acrylics, Exhibition, Pen & Ink, Watercolor, kitsch | Posted on 12-09-2009

The Sattva Art House is a really wonderful and calm place. It’s housed in a 100 year old bunglow in Whitefield, Bangalore. It is filled with children learning to paint and express their inner creativity. This show is hopefully the start of a long and artistically satisfying journey for me. I am looking forward to conducting workshops at their center over the next few months. Will keep you all posted as and when that happens.
Till then, I leave you with a few images from Sattva this morning.

At Sattva today.

A warm thanks to Sushmita Biswas for a wonderful article in the latest issue of The Telegraph. The article is called ‘ Designs on India’.  It features many young and new age designers who are out to embrace everything that is Indian. With a twist of course!!  It feels really good to be in such creative company.

My thanks to Archana at Rang-Decor, Pavitra at Masalachai and Kavita Rayirath at Indian by Design for showcasing my work on their site and guiding many like minded souls my way.Thank you.
