I kno now what i have to buy next time i am in Bangalore

  2. Thanks Chirantana. It’s all acrylics :-)

  3. Wow Arohi! Love ur work!

  4. Beautiful work!! love the vibrant mix of colours.

  5. Dear arohi..fascinating work..i wonder if you could mail me the quote if I wish to buy the centre table shown above and the trunk that you did. would appreciate it.

  6. Hey, some great work… lovely

  7. great stuff…do u retail in mumbai ?

  8. hey Komal, sorry but am not yet retailing in Mumbai. If you like or want something. Just shoot me an email on aarohi@artbyaarohi.com and we take it from there. Will be happy to ship to Mumbai :-)

  9. Lovely Lovely work!… What do varnish it with ? Can you keep stuff on the table and wipe it with a wet cloth?

  10. Thank you Leena :-) The furniture is varnished with multiple coats of lacquer. And yes, it is totally ‘usable’ – wipe with damp cloth and you’re good to go!!

  11. Dear Aarohi

first of all I would like to say KUDOS…………….to All your work………..U r doing some great work. I am very much inspired by your kitsch collection.
Your work inspired me to paint some old metal mugs lying with me.
I would like you to suggest me how to finish the Acrylic paints. Can varnish be used on them to seal coat.
    Waiting for your advise…….

    with warm regds
    Rajneet

  12. Hi Rajneet,
Thank you so much for appreciating my work :-)
To answer your question, start by preparing the surface you are going to work on. – Sand, prime, paint and then seal- that’s the steps in the process. depending on the surface you are painting on, you can by the Varnish from the hardware store. Basic varnish works great on acrylics…but if you use enamel paint and others markers and paints then be careful, sometimes the varnish may dissolve the paint!!
Hope this helped… Happy Painting Rajneet :-)
